James B. Parmelee incoming correspondence, 1868, 1875, 1894.

Letters to J.B. Parmelee from his cousin Fannie C. Parmelee Darsey of Georgia. In her first letter, Fannie mentioned the effects of the late War on her family and on the economy, her father's failing health, and bemoaned the fact that she did not have a complete education. In the second letter, 1875, she described seeing a homeopathic physician due to her ill health. Her health was still poor in 1894 when she wrote again, this time from Forsyth, Georgia, where she moved with her husband.
